When Nature is Strongest

I took this great photo years ago, down at the "swamp" back home at my parent's. The tree had originally fallen over from one of the few recent actual hurricane like storms, and was then cut to minimize further damages to it.
The following spring and summer, it shot several branches, and seemed to live on still. I was impressed, and took this photo to show the might of Nature at its best.

Home sweet home

Back, at last.
Well, it was hot. And dusty.
The insides of the tents easily reached 50ºC, and around 10am already. The dust covered everything. We didn't get as much as a single drop of rain until sunday. But in the following days, it did rain a bit. Which was good, all things considered.

The workdays, however, were a little hell. Especially the first night. But we pulled through, and survived! The next two nights, we had boomlifts! Kinda scary to hover in a metal basket at the end of 20 metres of extendable boom.

Also, I spend so much money... I'm dreading checking my account, lol
